2024 Season information below

The 2024 Fall Field Hockey League is an instructional and developmental youth league for players grades K-6 that are interested in learning the game and playing on a team. (experience is not necessary) Players will learn the basic fundamentals of field hockey, while learning to work together as a team! 
There are 3 divisions: K-2, 3rd-4th, 5th-6th (divisions based on # of players registered) 
*Note K-2 may not play in all of the play days below. 

This is the fourth year that Pottsgrove will run a youth field hockey league. As a new(ish) program, numbers were low last year and as we continue to build the program, the numbers are slowly increasing. There will only be in house games if there are enough players per division. All other games will be played on the tentative schedule below. 

The season comprises of weeknight practices, weekend play days (multiple games in one day) and occasional weeknight games vs local teams, home or away (like Daniel Boone, Norchester & Boyertown). 

This league is run by volunteer coaches, and cannot be done without it! If you would like to volunteer to coach a team, please contact us! Without volunteer coaches, there cannot be teams. All volunteers will receive coaching information & a skills checklist. 

Equipment Needed?
Each player will need their own field hockey stick, shin guards and mouth guard, as well as sneakers or turf shoes. Goggles are optional. 
*The best place to purchase field hockey equipment is at Longstreth Sporting Goods on Route 724. It is a field hockey dedicated store located at 78 Wells Rd, Spring City, PA 19475) The employees will help choose the correct stick size! 

What's Included? 
Included in your registration is a player uniform top. The registration fee's cover the play day fee's, practice fee's and equipment needed to operate the league. 
 
Cost: $110
Season begins: August 13th (Date TBD) 
Season ends: October 10th
Practice Nights: Tuesday & Thursday 6:30pm-7:30pm (K-2 Only practices Tuesday)
Practice Location: Pottsgrove High School (Falcon Turf field)
